As the finale of the project, the ESTOOLS Consortium hold a major 2-day International Scientific Symposium and also the 3rd and final Ethics Workshop “do we still need human embryonic stem cells?”. Outreach activities were planned to engage school-age students and the wider public. The photo-exhibition Smile of a Stem Cell was in Lisbon during the event.
