UniStem Day goes European

This year for the first time the UniStem Day is going European! Participating high schools and Universities from across Europe will be connected through a multi-layered network, stretching from traditional to social media, that will ensure everyone’s active participation in the event directly from their location.

The exciting educational scientific event, which originally took place only in Milan, will this year be held simultaneously not only across Italy, but in 8 European Universities from Spain to Scotland, including: Universitat de BarcelonaUniversidad Autónoma de MadridUniversidade de Santiago de CompostelaUniversidad Pablo de Olavide,Universidad de MurciaUniversidad de Valladolid and finally The University of Edinburgh.

And remember, if you can’t join us in person, follow the UniStem Day activities on Twitter! This year, for the first time, full coverage of the exciting events taking place will be tweeted live on UniStem’s Twitter page using the hash tag #unistem2013. You can also connect to @euro_dayinsci, where two Masters students will be tweeting live from Edinburgh University, or visit @eurostemcell, the Twitter page run by EuroStemCell, a European portal that unifies more than 90 European stem cell and regenerative medicine research labs.
