Scholarship available to attend the NSAS Course

One full Scholarship (tuition including accommodation and all meals) is available for one PhD student.

Neuroscience School of Advanced Studies (NSAS) – June 6-13, 2015, Florence Tuscany, Italy

 UniStem, the Center for Stem Cell Research of the University of Milano (Italy), co-founded by Elena Cattaneo, Giulio Cossu, Fulvio Gandolfi and Yvan Torrente, is pleased to announce that one full Scholarship (tuition including accommodation and all meals) is available for one PhD student to attend the Neuroscience School of Advanced Studies (NSAS) Course on “Neural Stem Cells in Development and for Brain Repair”. The scholarship is jointly sponsored by the 2013 Stem Cell Person of the Year Award and NSAS.

The Course, held at Villa Finaly in Florence, Tuscany, Italy on June 6-13, 2015, will be chaired by Elena Cattaneo and will include as Faculty Members undisputed leaders in the field such as Arturo Alvarez-Buylla, Oliver Brüstle, Anders Björklund, Chris Fasano, Arnold Kriegstein, Lorenz Studer and Hynek Wichterle. 

Applicants must be PhD students performing their research activity outside Italy. Applicants to the Scholarship should send their CV and one letter of reference from their mentor to unistem@unimi.it by February 28, 2015. Application is now openPlease note: places are limited.
