UniStem Day 2020 – the event in Warsaw
This year UniStem Day in Poland was held at Faculty of Biology, University of Warsaw on 6th March.
Over 300 students from high schools in Warsaw participated in this event. The program included inter alia lectures given by Ewa Kosyl, Karolina Kielczyk, Bartosz Mierzejewski and Iwona Grabowska–Kowalik as well as the discussion on the reliable sources of information with participation of excellent scientists and journalists: Ewa Bartnik, Maria A. Ciemerych–Litwinienko, Aleksandra Stanisławska, Paweł Boguszewski and Marcin Rotkiewicz. The meeting was conducted by Magdalena Kosmala and Kacper Bielak, students of our faculty.
The event was organized by members of Department of Cytology, Department of Embryology and Department of Immunology as well as members of Student Scientific Association of Medical Biology and Embryology.
The meeting was supported by: The Rector of University of Warsaw, The Mayor of Warsaw and The Office of Warsaw City, The Marshal and The Office of Mazowieckie Voivodeship in Warsaw, The Centre of Collaboration and Dialogue of UW, RDLS company, Biological and Chemical Research Centre and Faculty of Biology UW.
