UniStem Day – knowledge and innovation: the neverending trip of stem cell research

UniStem Day XI is coming! On March 15th, 2019, the long and fascinating trip of stem cell research in more than 80 Universities and Research Center in Europe.

UniStem Day is renewed for the eleventh time!! On March 15 – 2019, the largest scientific research event dedicated to high school students returns to 99 Universities and Research Centers.

Great news: for the first time UniStem Day crosses the borders of Europe and unites students from 4 continents. From Medellin in Colombia through Coimbra, Bonn, Athens and Milan in Europe, till to Singapore and the far away Melbourne in Australia.

UniStem day is an event to promote study and education in scientific culture aimed at high school students between 16 and 19 years. There are about 20,000 students who, in Italy, we manage to involve in just one day, scattered across the 50 Italian universities that welcome students from the region on the same day.

 

The event started in 2008 from our Milan university and has expanded over the years to extend in Europe and the world to promote a more mature and aware of the importance of knowledge and innovation for themselves and for others. In 2019 UniStem Day is organized in collaboration with Fondazione TIM

All participating countries in 2019: Australia, Austria, Colombia, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Italy,  Poland, Portugal, Spain, Singapore, Sweden, United Kingdom !!
